Receptionist
A volunteer receptionist is needed to answer phone on our multi-line system. We are looking for individuals to cover phones for specific slots and as back up receptionist.
Disaster Action Team (DAT):
A volunteer position for providing essential disaster relief services to survivors of disaster and in accordance with policies and procedures. Team members conduct damage assessments at disaster sights, interview disaster clients, and provide essential emergency assistance such as food, clothing, shelter and necessary mediations to victims of natural or man-made disaster. DAT members are on call. They are trained through local courses offered the chapter or regionally.
Volunteer Drivers:
The Medical Transportation Services is made possible by our volunteer drivers. All of our trips are for medical necessities. Volunteers dedicate their time behind the wheel of our five-vehicle fleet. Some volunteers drive every week, while other drive less frequently. We need drivers who will make trips within Berkshire County and drivers who will make longer trips, such as Boston. Volunteers need to have an interest in people, a valid driver's license, good driving record and a Standard First Aid/CPR course, which is provided at Red Cross expense.
