CPR and First Aid Course Scheduled in North Adams
North Adams, MA, December 17, 2001: The Berkshire County Chapter of the American Red Cross has scheduled a Community First Aid and Safety course to held at the Holiday Inn, 40 Main Street in North Adams, on January 16, 21, and 28, 2002. The course includes adult CPR from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. the first night; infant and child CPR from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. the second night; and basic first aid from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on the third night. Participants may attend all three nights for $45.00. They may also attend the first two nights (Community CPR) or the first and third nights (Standard First Aid) for $35.00. The cost includes a textbook, additional course materials and completion certificates.
The instructor will be Gary Martin of North Adams. Martin is a Pittsfield firefighter and long time Red Cross CPR and first aid instructor. Pre-registration is required as class size is limited.
