Hair Of The Dog Concert To Benefit The Berkshire County Red Cross
On March 10, 2005, the Albany based Hair Of The Dog will perform in the Talley Ho at the Eastover Resort, located on East Street in Lenox.
Over the past decade Hair Of The Dog has entertained thousands of fans of all ages with their unique blend of Celtic, rock, folk and bluegrass music. Their high energy sound, smooth four-part harmonies and tight instrumental attack has made them the number one Irish band in the Northeastern United States. They have enjoyed international success as well.
The band has sold thousands of their CD’s recorded from stages shared with The Clancy Brothers, Seven Nations, Black 47, The Wolfe Tones, The Young Dubliners, Solas, The Paperboys, The Prodigals, Off-Kilter, and the like. They tour Ireland bi-annually, they’ve been to the Caribbean and they have appeared in concert at pubs and festivals across the US.
The five talented musicians who comprise Hair Of The Dog complete the evening’s entertainment with their unique brand of humor, beautiful ballads, and upbeat Irish sing-alongs. Few acts can match half the fun or the musicianship of Hair Of The Dog, which is why their performances end in standing room only at every headlining gig for the past two years and counting.

Tickets can be purchased for $10 at the American Red Cross, 480 West Street, WUPE, 501 East Street, Zucchini’s Restaurant, 1331 North Street, Patrick’s Pub, 26 Bank Row, and at the door of the Tally Ho on March 10th. The doors open at 6:30, the concert begins at 8:00 p.m. and the band will perform for two one hour sets.
