The 16th Annual Berkshire Red Cross 2008 Golf Classic Welcomes LPGA & PGA Class A member Kay McMahon
The Berkshire County Red Cross will be holding its Sixteenth Annual Red Cross Golf Classic at the Country Club of Pittsfield on Monday, August 25, 2008. The event includes an 18 hole scramble format, many contests and activities including a Hole-In-One, putting contests, raffles, gifts, lunch, dinner, and much more.
Kay McMahon is one of the finest teachers in the world of golf. She has taught golfers of all levels both nationally and internationally on adaptive golf techniques for over 25 years. Kay was the first woman voted in the Southern California Chapter to be a member in the PGA. Kay is a former National LPGA President and won the LPGA National Teacher of the Year in 1995.In 2001, she was named by Golf Magazine as one of the Top 400 Teachers and also named on the Top Regional Teachers list in 2007. Kay was nominated to the LPGA Hall of Fame in 2006 and has successfully competed in 3 US opens.
